Summer Reading Program Sponsors

Each summer, Eureka Public Library District’s Summer Reading Program encourages community members of all ages to read. learn, and grow – not just during the summer, throughout each and every stage of their lives. We are so excited that our theme this summer is Dive into Reading!

This year’s Summer Reading Program will run from June 1 – July 15, 2023 and it is already filling up with awesome activities encouraging creativity and fostering a sense of community. Since starting our Summer Reading Program several years ago, community members of all ages have participated, from newborns through adult. Last year we had more than 600 participants who signed up for the program!

We are sticking with the changes we put in place in 2022, and will offer weekly prizes/drawings for all age groups, as well as larger grand prizes at the end of the Summer Program. Are you asking yourself how you can help? We would be thrilled to receive donations of coupons, gift certificates, books or new items of various sizes/values to use as weekly prizes, and/or to use as part of the grand prizes for each age group. We also welcome any monetary donations to use towards Summer Reading programs and/or prizes.

When you donate to EPLD's Summer Reading Program you help to enhance the Eureka community while marketing your business! Your business will receive recognition as a donor in our newsletter, on our website and social media, and all related print materials for the duration of the 2023 Summer Reading Program. You will also receive a 'Proud Sponsor of the Eureka Public Library 2023 Summer Reading Program' poster to display in your window!
