DONATIONS
We love offering the best to our community...and that is only possible because of the fantastic support we receive from our community! Many of the items in our collection are a direct result of donations provided by many of you. Please take a moment to read through our process of accepting material and cash donations.
We accept donations of materials, including books, CDs (music and audio books on CD), DVDs and Blu-rays at the circulation desk. Once materials are accepted, they become the property of Eureka Public Library District and are subject to EPLD's applicable collection policies.

If you or your company wishes to donate money, the library suggests unrestricted gifts, which can be used at the discretion of the Director and the Board of Trustees of Eureka Public Library.
In the case of a restricted gift, an agreement of understanding will be created and kept on file so that the library understands for what purposes the gift may be used. An annual audit is conducted on all money given and spent by the library. This audit also includes information specific to donations and any restrictions. For questions or further information, please contact the Library Director.
Upon your request, the library will be happy to provide a written acknowledgment of your gift. The staff cannot appraise or place monetary value upon gifts.
