Welcome to Mango Languages!

Prepare for conversation and strengthen everyday communication skills with over 70 world language courses, including American Sign Language (ASL). Access is free with your Eureka Public Library Card!
Let's get started!

Mango Languages can be accessed from any computer through a web browser or on a smartphone or tablet through the apps for iOS and Android.

How to create your Mango Languages account on a computer:
  • ​Visit Mango Languages in your web browser.
  • Select Sign Up.
  • Fill out the form with your email address, library card number, PIN, and create a password. Then click the Sign Up button.
  • Read the data consent form, then click I Agree to continue.
  • Choose the language that you want to learn from the list to start learning!

How to create your Mango Languages account on a smartphone or tablet:
  • Download the Mango Languages app for iOS or Android via your app store. Once complete, open the app on your device. 
  • Tap on Start Learning. Choose the language that you want to learn from the list. 
  • Click on Skip to Sign Up. Type in your email address and create a password.
  • Read the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, then tap the acknowledgement checkbox.
  • Click the Sign Up button.
  • Click on the Search button next to Find Free Mango.
  • Search for Eureka, Illinois and select Eureka Public Library District. Type in your library card number and PIN, then click Access Mango.
  • You should see a Success message if your card was authenticated. Tap on View Unlocked Content to start learning!

Little Pim

Mango Languages is designed to be used by anyone at a comfortable reading level.  However, for children not yet at a comfortable reading level, we offer Little Pim; the leading language teaching method designed just for children. The short 5-minute videos hold their focus so they can begin their language learning journey on their own.
Designed for ages 0 - 5, Little Pim's Entertainment Immersion Method introduces a new language in a way that builds on a child's natural love of play.

Vibrant animation and short video lessons incorporate words and highly engaging activities that are relevant to a child's daily life, while providing the essential buildinb blocks of a new language.

After choosing your language, you will find Little Pim by scrolling to the right in the black bar at the bottom of your screen.
ASL Inside

Mango Languages has partnered with ASL Inside, one of the leading ASL learning platforms, and as a patron, you now have free access to all the features this course has to offer.
  • Launch lessons right from the Mango app and Get Started by modeling native ASL signers.
  • Self-paced courses are designed to meet your learning speed.
  • The Magic Mirror feature enables instant visual comparison for accurate sign modeling.
  • Multiple sign models will help you experience a variety of ASL accents.
  • Practical lessons will quickly enable you to engage in basic ASL conversations.
  • Content includes Cultural and Grammar Notes, Vocabulary, and Automatically-Graded Review.
